DECKS & PERGOLAS
Deck & Pergola Family Entertainer in Amaroo
A custom deck paired with a pitched-roof pergola for an Amaroo family home, creating a spacious, sheltered outdoor entertaining area that blends into the backyard and offers shade and cover through the Canberra seasons.
The Challenge
The backyard was an open, unshaded space with no comfortable spot for the family to sit, dine or entertain, and the owners wanted a structure that felt like a natural extension of the home rather than a bolt-on addition.
The Solution
We built a wide, durable deck with concealed fixings and added a steel-framed pergola with a colorbond roof, integrated downlights and a lined ceiling, creating a weather-protected entertaining area that ties neatly into the home.
